PERFECT LOVE
Perfect Love interrogates the commodification of intimacy within a hyper-digital landscape, where the sacredness of connection is superseded by algorithmic simulation. By trapping the participant in a physical feedback loop — the treadmill, the donkey and its carrot — the work lays bare the Sisyphean structure of contemporary desire: an endless expenditure of emotional labour in exchange for a curated, synthetic reward. If a flawless partner can be manufactured to want exactly what we want, the question is no longer whether the machine can love, but whether love survives being optimised. The work refuses to decide whether these humanised clones are a sanctuary for the lonely or the most elegant apparatus of alienation yet built — one that erodes the authenticity of human existence precisely by perfecting it.
